TYPES OF CLOUDS
The official names of the different types of clouds are given in Latin . There are four genera ( generates ) fundamental
- Clusters ( cumulus) clouds of vertical development
- Strata ( Stratus ) stratified clouds
- Nimbos (Nimbus ) capable of forming rain clouds
- Cirrus (Cirrus ) ice crystal clouds
previous groups are in type clouds low, medium or high, and vertical development, leading to a classification of 16 types.
