Malawi as all most countries of the world has some level of violence and abuse practiced against women. To combat this there are organizations the country defend their rights and are constantly working to make this scourge is gone. A woman died in a district of Malawi because his uncle was beaten by planting a tree.
Although some years ago that the National Assembly of this country passed the Domestic Violence Act, allegations of violence against women and children continue to be a common theme in this country. Malawi
curious thing about it is that has a tradition of commemorating nationwide 16 Days of Activism on Gender from November 25 to December 10 of each year. Experts say that Malawi needs more than 16 days to refrain from violence against women and that makes us smile because we live in a country Spain, where such violence is almost daily.
