Manufactured homes are a type of building that consists of several components or units built in factories and assembled at the site to complete the unit or home.
The term 'prefabricated' may refer to buildings built in components (eg panels), modules (modular homes) or transportable sections (manufactured homes), and can also be used to refer to mobile homes.

Modular homes are homes that are created in sections, then transported to the start site for the construction and installation.
