Africans are suffering greatly due to climate change and pollution that developed countries produce . Our CO2 and other greenhouse gases are pouring resources into Africa as well as the settlement was in the past. In the colonial era the aim was to seize what Africa had to create wealth in Western countries. Today the land in Africa is once again destroyed by gases emanating from the industrialized world. Climate changes are enslaving Africa again forcing him to pay the cost of our lifestyle. Each person in Ireland is under the equivalent output of 11 tons of coal per year. An African is only responsible for 0.1 tons. Africa produces only 4% of greenhouse gases produced in the world and yet nowhere else in the world the effects are so visible as in this continent. These effects have depressed agricultural production by creating food insecurity, famine, spread of disease, lack of water and more deforestation and desert. As more and more Africans have to migrate from their regions, creating tension, conflict, suffering and death.

A very hurt by this lack of Climate Justice are the poorest women in Africa which are those to provide food and water for the family. In Ghana, women often walk miles to fetch water. Experts estimate that due to climate change on river water that reaches the largest reservoirs of cities in Ghana will be reduced by 40% in 2050. Today much of the land that was productive has become useless and people have had to leave the villages and try to find work in cities like Accra and Kumasi.

The African continent is 0.5 C warmer than it was made one hundred years but the latest research suggests that in some places is 3 degrees C more than twenty years ago. In 2007, Uganda, Ghana, Sudan and Ethiopia have been affected by floods that destroyed homes and crops were taken. If the temperature continues to rise this will occur more often. In 2008, Africa recorded 104 natural disasters in which 99 percent were related to climate change and affecting 16.7 million people.

Climate Justice has become the 21 st century in the most important issue of human rights. The lifestyle of the rich places in the world based on the excessive use of coal and gas are undermining the prospects of a normal life for the poorest.
